MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A trio of young Brewers fans are taking their dreams to the big leagues.
Lucas, Andersen, and Reece are three patients at Aurora Health Care who have faced a number of health obstacles growing up.
When times were tough, all three showed bravery, and on Tuesday, they were rewarded for that resilience.
The Brewers, alongside Aurora, are sponsoring a trip for the patients and their families to attend spring training in Phoenix.
It's a once-in-a-lifetime trip that organizers say helps all parties involved.
"There are times like this, where we can celebrate with them in good health, we truly help them live well, and even in the process of celebrating together with the Brewers, it is an extraordinary journey for us, too," said Dr. Kevin Dahlman, medical director, Aurora Children's Health.
All three will be able to meet players, tour the clubhouse and even throw out the first pitch during a spring training game.
