Brewers pitcher Josh Hader placed on COVID-19 injured list

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Another Milwaukee Brewers player has been placed on the COVID-19 injury reserve list. The team reported pitcher Josh Hader was placed on the list Monday, Aug. 2.

The Brewers are set to take on the Pittsburgh Pirates Monday night.
The news comes after pitchers Jake Cousins and Hunter Strickland, and reliever Jandel Gustave, tested positive over the weekend.
Last week, star outfielder Christian Yelich tested positive for COVID-19 and was showing mild symptoms.
Meantime, Jace Peterson has been reinstated from the COVID-19 injury list.
