Bucks' Bobby Portis picked for 2023 FIBA World Cup, reports say

Multiple sources report Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis will play in the upcoming FIBA World Cup.
This will be the first time Portis represents the U.S. as a pro on an international stage.
Sources: Lakers’ Austin Reaves, Timberwolves’ Anthony Edwards and Bucks’ Bobby Portis are among current commitments to Team USA for FIBA World Cup this summer.

Team USA starts the tournament in the Philippines with its first game against New Zealand on Aug. 26.
Also on the team is Milwaukee-born, Tyrese Haliburton, an all-star point guard with the Indiana Pacers who played for Oshkosh North High School.
