Bucks ink Middleton to 3-year/$102 million extension
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Bucks have inked Khris Middleton to a 3-year/$102 million contract to return to Milwaukee.
Middleton had a player option that he opted out of that was worth up to $40 million.
Middleton averaged 15.1 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.9 assists with the Bucks last season.
Milwaukee still has yet to sign Brook Lopez, but they continue to work to keep their championship window open by signing the All-Star guard to an extension.
The Bucks lost to the Miami Heat in the First Round of the NBA Playoffs in five games.
The team brought in former Toronto Raptors assistant coach Adrian Griffin to be their next head coach -- along with a few other notable names to their coaching staff.
The Bucks also lost two names already to start free agency -- Jevon Carter signed a 3-year/$20 million deal with the Chicago Bulls, and Joe Ingles signed a deal with the Orlando Magic.
