MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities are investigating a fire near 10th and Burleigh Tuesday, May 13.
According to the Milwaukee Fire Department, firefighters arrived at the scene at 9:37 a.m. and found a car burning next to the garage. The blaze was extinguished by 9:49 a.m.
Once the fire was put out, first responders found a victim deceased in the vehicle.
MFD says the Fire and Investigative Team and Milwaukee police are investigating.
CBS 58 spoke to one neighbor who saw the smoke and called 911. He says when he arrived at the scene, a car was on fire, and he knocked on the door of the home to see if anyone was inside.
Shortly after, he said the windshield and the mirrors of the car blew off.
