WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- The lunch line at your local Culver's may be a bit longer Monday as the Wisconsin-based restaurant chain welcomes a popular item back to the menu for a limited time.
What started as a social media prank has turned into a Wisconsin tradition.
The Curderburger is back at Culver's for the month of October.
You might remember all that craziness back in 2021 when Culver's first brought the Curderburger for just one day, National Cheese Curd Day, Oct. 15.
They sold roughly 136,000 Curderburgers that day, so they brought it back for three weeks in October 2022 and sold nearly a million.
Now, it's available for the whole month of October, but some people we spoke with say that still might not be enough.
"This would be amazing to have on the menu full-time, because I come here and sometimes I put the cheese curds on my burger, and to have it like this is amazing," said Emma Schmidt.
That was Emma's first experience with the Curderburger.
Culver's is hoping by making it available for the entire month, they won't have to deal with all of those traffic jams and running out of supplies like they have in previous years.
