Damp & Cool: Two Weather Words for The Week
Say goodbye to the 80 degrees temperatures some of us saw over the weekend. We're definitely in a "fall mode" for the foreseeable future. A cold front has moved through, and now we have to deal with upper level pressure systems. One today could trigger a few showers, mainly well north of I-94. A second, more-potent impulse will give us all a better chance of rain showers later Tuesday afternoon.
It looks like this system will "sit and spin" east of us starting on Wednesday.
This mean a persistent forecast with on/off showers through much of the week perhaps even the weekend too. Rainfall amounts won't be much. Maybe a few tenths of an inch.
The bigger talker will be the cooler weather with readings in the 60s for highs and 40s and 50s for lows. It does look a little better by the weekend, but there will still be a slight chance for showers. Highs by this point will be near 70 and lows 50-55.
Even though our storms are done, for at least a while, anytime is still a good time to download the free CBS58 weather app. It keeps you ahead of whatever is coming weatherwise.
