A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
The snow is gone, and the cold has arrived. Wind chills have been between -25° and -15° all day today and will dip down -30° tonight for most folks away from the lakefront.
It's no surprise the Wind Chill Advisory has been extended area-wide until Noon Monday.
Wind chills only improve to -18° at best Monday afternoon as high temps only warm to either side of 0°. The worst of the wind chills arrive Monday night into Tuesday morning with wind chills flirting with Wind Chill Warning criteria of -35°.
Wind chills stay below zero until Thursday afternoon, which will be our warmest day of the week.
Unfortunately, the wind won't die down much over the next few days, so really try to limit your time outdoors. Especially in the mornings and evenings when temps will be below zero.
