Dog missing for more than a week rescued near Fond du Lac River

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A dog missing for more than a week was rescued by firefighters in Fond du Lac.
According to a post on Twitter, Foxy -- an adult male Shiba Inu -- went missing on Oct. 12.
On Tuesday, Oct. 20, the Fond du Lac Fire Department was called to 2nd Street near the Fond du Lac River, and found Foxy near the water.
Officials got a ladder, climbed down near the water, wrapped Foxy up in a bag and carried him up to safety.
The fire department says Foxy will be reunited with his owner.
