A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
Patchy drizzle, fog, and a few flurries linger in parts of SE WI this morning after a soggy and snowy Thursday.
All of these will come to an end by mid morning at the latest with decreasing clouds from north to south during the afternoon. High temps reach the upper 30s to low 40s once again.
We'll start the weekend with sunshine, but clouds roll back in Saturday afternoon and evening ahead of a quick moving system that'll bring us spotty light snow showers on Sunday.
An inch or less of accumulation is expected across SE WI. Slick spots will be possible on untreated roads, especially early Sunday morning.
We'll be watching the snow closely as Milwaukee hasn't had any measurable snow yet this month. There's only been two other December on record without measurable snow (1943, 1894).
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to track the light snow.
