Sunshine and a blustery WSW wind helped temps rise back into the low to mid 50s on Thursday, but a cold front moving through early this morning will shift our winds to the NW today, bringing in a cooler airmass and more clouds.
Highs top out in the low to mid 40s today but will rebound into the mid to upper 40s Saturday and low to mid 50s on Sunday as the wind shifts back to the south and southwest. The warming trend will continue into next week with highs reaching the upper 50s to low 60s most days. Normal highs by then drop into the upper 40s.
There isn't any rain in the forecast for at least a week, but we'll deal with clouds from time to time and a noticeable breeze most days. Winds gust up to 20 mph today but will turn very light on Saturday. A system passing us by to the north on Sunday will allow for wind speeds of 15-25 mph during the day with gusts up to 30 mph at night.
The overall dry and warmer than normal weather pattern will continue for most of next week with the Climate Prediction Center giving us an 80% chance that above normal temps continue.
