Few light showers this weekend followed by a soaking rain early next week
It's been a cloudy start to the weekend, and unfortunately, we won't see much sun the rest of the weekend. While it'll be cloudy, there won't' be much rain. A few isolated showers are possible closer to midnight tonight ahead of a warm front.
We also can't rule out an isolated shower or two Sunday afternoon south of Milwaukee.
Not everyone will see rain this weekend, and the rain that falls will be light. The same can't be said for the low pressure system that'll arrive late Monday. A widespread, soaking rain is likely late Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning. Between .50-1" of rain is expected.
Another area of low pressure will spin through the Great Lakes and Ohio Valley Wednesday and Thursday. This will bring at least a spotty chance for showers late Wednesday into Thursday. A few wet snowflakes may mix in later Wednesday, but no impacts are expected.
Temps remain above normal in the 50s to around 60 for the next three days, but our first taste of actual chilly air moves in for the second half of next week when highs only reach the low 40s.
It'll feel even colder at the end of next week when you factor in the strong winds. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to see the full 7 day forecast.
