Flight for Life called after high-speed crash in Sheboygan County

HOLLAND, Wis. (CBS 58) --- Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office is investigating a two vehicle high-speed collision that occurred on I-43 north in the area of Foster Road in the Town of Holland Saturday, Dec. 26.

Officials say it happened around 9:44 p.m.

Arriving deputies found one car in the east ditch that was occupied by two individuals. They had non-life threatening injuries and were assessed on scene.

Officials say after a time of searching, the second car was found in the west ditch of I-43 south, north of County Road KK, approximately 3/10 mile north of the collision scene.

The car was occupied by two individuals from Sheboygan with serious injuries. The passenger was transported to the hospital by an ambulance.

The driver was taken to Froedtert Medical Center in Milwaukee by Flight-for Life.

I-43 was partially shut down during the incident. 

Officials say impairment is believed to be an issue and the incident remains under investigation.
