Germantown's KK Arnold chooses UConn

Germantown, Wis. (CBS 58) - Germantown junior Kamorea "KK" Arnold has chosen her next destination to continue her basketball career.

Arnold announced her verbal commitment to University of Connecticut on Monday, November 22nd.

The Class of 2023 guard is the top ranked player in Wisconsin and the eighth ranked player in the class by ESPN's HoopGurlz Super 60 rankings.

Arnold said the competition nature of the program and the ability to push her to the next level is a part of the reasons she chose UConn. 

Arnold averaged 22.9 points per game as a sophomore helping lead Germantown to its first ever girls state title. She also won a gold medal with Team USA U16 team in the FIBA Americas Championship.
