MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--If there's any day to help with our drought situation, it'll be on Monday as low pressure passes us to the south. Look for heavy rain, potentially, throughout the day. In fact, our in-house model spits out a lot of rainfall across the metro into and through the evening. 4-7"+ for some! Another computer model shows a few inches at least. It's hard to pinpoint exactly where the heaviest of rain will fall. But keep in mind, the potential is there for some flooding. As it stands now, there are no advisories to mention so far. But stay tuned to CBS 58 for the latest weather information.

In the meantime, we could see some passing showers into Sunday afternoon. There's also another chance of rain and storms Thursday morning. And then we focus on the heat into the weekend. 90s potentially for some of us. Dog days of summer weather coming soon.
