Giannis Antetokounmpo leads all scorers in losing effort, Greek Olympic run comes to an end

PARIS (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a game-high 22 points, along with three assists and a block, in a losing effort against Germany in the Tuesday, Aug. 6 men's basketball quarterfinal. The loss ends the Greek squad's Olympic journey in Paris.

Franz Wagner of the Orlando Magic led the German side with 18 points as the German team advances to the Olympic semifinals for the first time.

Germany's men's basketball team is unbeaten in the Paris games, so far. In the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Germany only won one game. They will face the winner of France and Canada on Thursday, Aug. 8.
