Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Bunilla
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For the first time since her arrest, WNBA star Brittney Griner has returned to the basketball court.
It comes just days after she was released from a Russian penal colony.
CBS58's Scott Grodsky caught up with Bucks forward Bobby Portis to hear his thoughts on her release.
"Happy that she's home now, being with her wife, kids and family," Portis said. "Everyone around the sports world did their part to try and bring her home. It was a tough situation, but blessed and grateful she's home around the holidays as well."
Griner's agent isn't sure if she will resume her WNBA career or not but said she did dunk during a light practice Tuesday.
