Milwaukee named the best city for creatives, report says
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A group of local elementary school students took some time to give back on Friday, April 17.
Second graders at the Heritage Christian Schools made their way over to the Epikos Food Pantry to lend a helping hand.
It's the biggest haul of food items Heritage has collected for Epikos so far.
The pantry's coordinator could not be prouder of the work the students are doing at such a young age.
"They are great. They formed an assembly line to pass the food in, they were singing songs, they were giving themselves cheers for the total of food, they're just having a ball, they love being here, we love having them here," said Michael Kelley, coordinator with Epikos.
The Epikos Food Pantry is always accepting non-perishable items.
