MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- June is pride month, which is a celebration of progress and visibility for the LGBTQ community. It's also an opportunity to recognize the contributions made towards LGBTQ rights, health and safety. Milwaukee has long been home to a vibrant LGBTQ population and one organization, which recently celebrated 40 years in the community, has been a pillar for saving lives during a scary time.
