Love takes all first-team reps in practice, ready for LA
GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- We are done worrying about will he play or won't he. Jordan Love is officially back without question for the Packers.
He took all of the first-team reps in Wednesday's practice and says his knee injury hasn't bothered him the past couple of days any more than typical post-game soreness. What does bother Love is some of his throws against the Vikings. Despite setting career high in yards and touchdowns, he was disappointed by his ball placement, saying that Minnesota matchup was basically knocking off the rust. It was also a confidence boost because he did take a couple of hits and was able to bounce back pretty easily.
"You know, I think that was the big test going into the game, is how I'd respond getting hit, things like that," Love said. "So it definitely gives me more confidence, and I know going into the game it's football and I'm going to get hit at some point."
"You know, I think that's a byproduct of not practicing for a couple of weeks," LaFleur said. "I thought in our limited practice today he did a really nice job. It looks like he's just getting back into the groove."
Wide receiver Christian Watson did not practice Wednesday as he deals with an ankle injury. Expect to see more Dontayvion Wicks on the field Sunday.
