MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man is charged with sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl who was later shot during an argument about that sexual assault.
Sanchez Wilson, 36, is charged with child sexual assault, reckless use of a dangerous weapon, and illegal gun possession.
A criminal complaint says on March 29, police were called to the area near 28th and Glendale where they found Wilson with a gunshot wound. They learned a 7-year-old girl had also been shot and taken to the hospital.
Investigators spoke with the 7-year-old girl who said Wilson had sexually assaulted her.
The complaint goes on to say Wilson was involved in a shooting after arguing with another man who learned of the sexual assault. The 7-year-old was caught in the crossfire and was hit.
