MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting on Thursday, May 30.

It happened near Townsend and Hubbard around 11:55 a.m. 

Police say the 43-year-old victim, identified by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office as Sarah Ames, sustained a fatal gunshot injury. 

The shooting is under investigation. Milwaukee police continue to seek unknown suspect(s).
