Microsoft no longer forcing towns and cities to sign non-disclosure agreements when building data centers

CBS 58

SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- Microsoft says cities and towns will no longer be forced to sign non-disclosure agreements when building new data centers.

The tech giant is just one of the companies eyeing southeast Wisconsin for future projects.

That includes a plan to bring 15 Microsoft-owned data centers to Mount Pleasant.

The company says they made the decision to increase transparency.

They're also voiding all non-disclosure agreements that were already in effect.
