MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police arrested three people in connection to an armed carjacking that happened Wednesday, March 18. 

Police say that around 1:30 p.m. along N. Lovers Lane Rd. armed suspects approached a victim and demanded their car. 

Officers later found the car along N. Sherman Boulevard and attempted to make a stop. The driver refused and a police chase started. The chase ended when the suspects exited the rolling car and fled on foot. 

Three boys, a 12-year-old, 13-year-old and a 14-year-old, were than arrested. 

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
