Milwaukee Admirals win at home, force Game 4 in Central Division Semis

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --The Milwaukee Admirals survive to play another day taking down the Texas Stars in Game 3.

The Admirals won a must-win game 5-3 to force a game 4 in the Central Division Semifinals.

After scoring just four goals combined in both games 1 and 2, the Admirals exceeded that in game 3. The Admirals pulled ahead in a back and forth first period that featured a combined 11 penalties called including a game misconduct and major on the Admirals. In total, 53 penalty minutes were assessed for both teams.

Milwaukee held a 3-2 lead after the first period, scoring the first goal 3:31 minutes into the game and held the lead from there. For the Admirals, Zach L'Heureux led the way with a goal and 3 assists. Marc Del Gaizo started the scoring and finished with two goals for the Admirals. Juusso Parssinen also picked up 3 assists.

Troy Grosenick got the start in net stopping 28 of the 31 shots he faced.

Game 4 is scheduled Friday, May 10th at 7 p.m. The game once again will be at Panther Arena.
