Milwaukee businesses could lose their license if they fail to follow coronavirus regulations

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Leaders in Milwaukee County addressed restaurant capacity limits and social distancing guidelines during their weekly coronavirus briefing Tuesday afternoon, June 30.

According to Health Commissioner Jeanette Kowalik, businesses could lose their licenses if they are not following the rules.

"The first point is having a conversation with the operator," Kowalik said. "The next point if there's repeated infractions is getting to some monetary punishments as far as citations and things like that. And then of course, these places are licensed and the city is the one that licenses them."
