MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A Milwaukee jazz artist is up for her ninth consecutive Grammy this weekend at the annual awards.
Tierney Sutton’s latest nod is for her latest project, Screenplay, a collection of songs from American films.
Sutton said she's hoping for her first win on Sunday night, but even being nominated is an honor.
“Honestly, I’m never disappointed in not winning,” she said. “Because, if your peers choose you to be among the Top 5 of what you do, that’s plenty for me.”
Sutton is just one of the seven people with Wisconsin ties nominated for a Grammy this year.
The 62nd annual Grammy awards will air on CBS 58 on Sunday at 7 p.m.
