MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- On Saturday, July 27, the Milwaukee lakefront could be busy and could be a traffic snarl.

Four festivals that could draw tens of thousands of people near the lake will celebrate on Saturday, and they have key activities that overlap.

The Milwaukee Air and Water Show kicks off at 10 a.m. with the water show, but the USAF Thunderbirds will perform over the skies at Bradford Beach at 3 p.m.

That is the exact time Milwaukee Brewfest opens their doors for general admission. Brewfest happens just a little bit south at McKinley Park.

3 p.m. is also the first scheduled concert of the day at Veterans Park. "The Criticals" are playing the main stage at Harley-Davidson Homecoming. Activities start at 2 p.m. and end after the "Red-Hot Chili Peppers" finish their show around 11 p.m.

German Fest is from noon to midnight on Saturday at the Henry Maier Festival Grounds.

It is not hard to imagine thousands of cars and motorcycles and people trying to get in and out of this 2.5-mile stretch from Bradford to German Fest. Deb Wolf, Vice President of German Fest says the festivals are talking to each other about logistics.

"All of us have been working together for the last 3, 4 months. Having regular calls with Milwaukee County Sheriff, Milwaukee World Festivals we've all been involved trying to get that messaging out to everybody what the best route is for everybody to get down to what they want to get to," said Wolf.

Wolf said no matter which lakefront festival you attend on Saturday, you might want to leave early, and bring your patience.

All four weekend festivals have information on parking, admission, and the best way to get to their grounds. Find the links here:
