MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - Wisconsin and the African country of Uganda are separated by more than 7,500 miles.

But in today's interconnected world, it's not all that difficult to bridge cultures and communities through education if you so desire.

In our Sunday Morning Spotlight, Michael Schlesinger introduces a piano teacher in Milwaukee making a difference in the lives of young people in our hometowns and children a half a world away.

Here's some additional information if you're interested in helping Heinzel Kunsmann and his special mission:

As mentioned in Michael's report, Heinzel gives piano lessons, via WhatsApp, to a dozen kids at the "Tree of Life" Children Ministries in Uganda.

He spends an hour or so with them each week, perfecting their skill, note for note.  Heinzel has helped raise money for two keyboards.

He also worries about future sustainability of "Tree of Life." He hopes major fundraising can help the orphanage purchase an acre of land to call their own.  He's set aside $100, soon to increase to $200.
