MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- "Ayyyy!" Claire Koenig from Visit Milwaukee joined us on Thursday, Oct. 16, to share details about an upcoming public celebration honoring actor Henry Winkler's 80th birthday.

The party will take place Thursday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Bronze Fonz statue that stands along the Milwaukee Riverwalk at Wells Street.

Mayor Cavalier Johnson will issue a proclamation declaring Oct. 30 Henry Winkler Day in Milwaukee.

The celebration will include remarks from Visit Milwaukee President and CEO Peggy Williams-Smith, a special video message from Winkler, an interactive "Happy Days" community board where fans can share what creates happy days for them in Milwaukee, a sing-along led by Skylight Music Theatre performers and a cake cutting with the mayor.

Visit Milwaukee is also planning to give away a Fonzie-themed trip to Milwaukee for those who cannot make it to town, and the celebration can also be seen on the Brone Fonz live camera.
