MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — A 35-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday after a police pursuit ended in a crash involving two other vehicles.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, officers spotted a vehicle being driven recklessly shortly before 3 p.m. near South Layton Boulevard and West Greenfield Avenue.

Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused, prompting a pursuit.

The pursuit ended when the suspect's vehicle crashed into two other vehicles near South 70th and West Main streets.

The 35-year-old driver was arrested. Police said criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.

The drivers of the other vehicles, ages 36 and 23, were taken to a hospital with nonfatal injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
