MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – On this day five years ago, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 a global pandemic, shutting down daily life, crippling the economy and reshaping public health.
While some people around Wisconsin tried to navigate the hardships of the sickness, others share memories of quarantining with family members and learning new skills.
CBS 58’s Kathryn Merck spoke with people in the Historic Third Ward as we reflect on the pandemic’s impact on our state.
