MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's newest Halloween hotspot officially opens to the public Thursday.

The Deer District has been transformed into the “Fear District” to kick off the scary holiday season.

It's free to check it out, but if you want to go through the haunted houses and corn maze it will cost you $20 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under and people 65 or older.

It's open from 6 -10 p.m. on Thursdays, 6 - 11 p.m. on Fridays, 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Saturdays and 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Sundays.

Visitors can enjoy three haunted houses, a corn maze and more attractions.

There will also be scary movies playing, Halloween-themed games, food and beverages.

It will be open Thursday and Friday nights and on the weekends in the afternoons and evenings from Sept. 26 - Nov. 3.
