CEDARBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) — One of many special Mother's Day events this weekend is taking place in a historic part of downtown Cedarburg.
The Cedar Creek Winery and Settlement has everything families need to show a little extra love to the women who do it all.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, and Sunday, May 10, moms visiting the Settlement will receive a free gift and chocolate.
Musician Kevin Kennedy will perform live music both days from noon until 3pm.
Those celebrating Mother's Day can also enter a drawing for a free gift basket, with the winner announced both days at 4 pm.
The winery will have $5 glasses of select wines, and the shops throughout the Settlement will have special discounts.
"Bring mom to lunch, have a glass of wine, sit down on the patio, and just enjoy," said Eva Danner, the Assistant Retail Manager at Cedar Creek Winery.
