MPD investigating fatal shooting of 25-year-old near Silver Spring and Sherman

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal shooting near Silver Spring and Sherman.
According to MPD, the shooting resulted in the death of a 25-year-old individual, and was reported around 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 3.
The victim reportedly suffered a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not yet known, and the investigation is ongoing.
