MPD source: Search of 'suspicious vehicle' near 5th and Clybourn prompts road closures downtown

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The scene is clear, and roads are back open after a bomb scare in downtown Milwaukee.
A Milwaukee police source tells us it was prompted by a report of a suspicious vehicle near the Intermodal station.
That source says crews were searching for explosive devices, which led to significant downtown road closures, including I-794 near the Marquette Interchange and long stretches of 6th Street and St. Paul going downtown.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee police source tells us an investigation is underway at 5th and Clybourn Monday afternoon as crews search a "suspicious vehicle" for explosives.
Several streets were closed during the investigation, and the Marquette Interchange was temporarily shut down, with traffic diverted on I-794 eastbound.
