RICHFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) History comes to life starting this weekend in Richfield!

Morning Star Productions is debuting a new escape/theatre experience bringing guests back to WWII to help solve a mystery.

Inspired by Louis Lowry's Number the Stars the story of Double Cross begins with Sophie, a young Jewish girl who is captured by the Nazis during the War. Her father, a Jewish nuclear scientist has been ordered to work for them and has refused up until now. Sophie is being held at a remote Nazi outpost until her father agrees to share his secret information.

Participants will join the resistance movement during WWII and the mission is to find a series of characters who will have clues to help them ultimately find and free Sophie.

The experience takes place on the wooden trail behind Wooded Hills Church in Richfield. A new group begins the trail experience every 10 minutes and the play runs Fridays - Sundays from Sept. 20 - Oct. 27.
