October in the books slightly above on rain and well below on temps

October ended chilly but as the calendar has turned into November we have some warm temperatures on the way. The last day of October was actually when we saw our coldest low of the month when temperatures tanked into the lower half of the 20s. October did have a warm start with some 70s and even an 80* day on October 9th. The average temperature for October was well below-average and October 2020 will go down as the 31st coldest on record.

When it comes to precipitation we had exactly 3" of rain which was a little above average but well below the very wet October we had in 2019. October also saw 0.1" of snow officially in Milwaukee which was a couple tenths below the average.

November is one of the months when our temperatures really start to change. The average high goes from the low 50s to the upper 30s and the average low goes from the upper 30s to the 20s. November averages 2.71" of precipitation which includes rain as well as 2.4" of snow.
