MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Joseph Thrasher spends many hours carving, cutting, and creating as a woodworker. He's also another kind of artist. He's a master in martial arts. More specifically, Jiu Jitsu, also known as the "Gentle Art" in Japanese. And for a second time, this multi-faceted artisan is showing off one of his creations at the Biennial Exhibition currently at the Plymouth Arts Center. A practical wooden bench. The juried show is actually put on by Wisconsin Craft, a local non-profit showcasing the work of many kinds of artists across the Badger State. In this current members-only exhibit, there are close to 70 folks demonstrating their wares. The event itself runs through April 25th.
