MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As the dawn of 2023 welcomed many resolutions about staying healthy, the time has also arrived to take a look at health coverage plans, for those planning to receive health insurance coverage through the federal marketplace.
There is still time to browse the marketplace and choose coverage, but the deadline is Jan. 15.
Dr. Katherine Hempstead, a senior policy adviser at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation joined us on Tuesday, Jan. 10 to offer advice about how to best pursue plans on the marketplace, as well as information about why healthcare coverage is a necessity.
To receive free health insurance assistance from a licensed health insurance navigator, visit www.coveringwi.org/enroll or call (414) 400-9489. More information about the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation can be found by visiting RWJF.org.
