Organization pays off mortgage of fallen Appleton firefighter

APPLETON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A national foundation benefiting firefighters says they've paid off the mortgage of an Appleton firefighter killed on the job.

Mitchell Lungaard was shot during a shoot-out in downtown Appleton in May. 

Tunnel to Towers says they've paid off the mortgages of six fallen firefighters, including Lungaard.

The organization had agreed to take on the mortgage in June.
