GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- How Packers General Manager Brian Gutekunst thought things would turn out Thursday was correct. 

He felt it was too expensive to trade up into the first round, so the Packers sat back and waited for day two Friday. 

That's when the Packers will make their first selection.

 Currently, with the 52nd overall pick in the second round and then 84th in round three. 

Saturday is when the Packers are set up for their final six picks. 

Because of that and how the Packers draft picks look next year, Gutenkunst said he is comfortable if the Packers needed to move up tomorrow, they could.
