MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- This is the 10th year the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network has held its PurpleStride event in Milwaukee. The last few years, it's been held at Miller Park. This year's event will look a lot different.
CBS 58's Natalie Shepherd, an emcee of the event, was joined by Holly Ignatowski from the Milwaukee Affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, to discuss the event still going on Sunday, June 7, but it will be virtual.
You can still register to be part of the event for free HERE. If you make a $25 or more donation, you get a coveted PurpleStride t-shirt sent to you at a later date.
The virtual opening ceremony for this year's PurpleStride will start just before 10 a.m., and you can find it on the Milwaukee Pancreatic Cancer Action Network's Facebook page.
