Pick ‘n Save, Metro Market to host Brat Fry Fundraisers to aid groups impacted by Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy

WAUKESHA, Wis. -- Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market will reportedly host a Brat Fry Fundraiser this weekend at its three Waukesha-area stores to help raise funds to aid groups impacted by the Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy.

Officials say that all proceeds raised during the events will be distributed to three groups greatly impacted by the Waukesha Christmas Parade tragedy:

  • Waukesha South High School Band
  • Waukesha Xtreme Dance Team
  • Milwaukee Dancing Grannies

The Brat Fry Fundraisers will happen on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4-5, from 11 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Pick ‘n Save Waukesha-Sunset, 220 E. Sunset Drive, Waukesha WI 53189
  • Pick ‘n Save Waukesha-Sunset West, 1220 W. Sunset Drive, Waukesha WI 53189
  • Metro Market Silvernail, 2160 Silvernail Road, Pewaukee WI 53072

Reports show that with a $4 cash donation, attendees will receive a Klement’s brat in a Bimbo Bakeries USA bun, a bag of Frito Lay chips and a Coke product.

"For all cash donations, Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market will provide a match donation up to $5,000," the grocery store chain announced in a release Wednesday. "In addition, Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market will donate $20,000 to the United for Waukesha Community Fund."
