The Basics of CBD

Cannabidiol is the wellness product of the moment. More and more people are trying it. You can even find it at some local pharmacies now. So what exactly is CBD, what are the benefits, and does it get you high? We get answers from Dr. Cristina Aponte, a pharmacist at Lakeview Pharmacy.

Preserving Our Past

We need to look ahead to be prepared, but it’s also important to remember our past. May is National Historic Preservation Month and Absolutely Waterford is offering another event highlighting the village’s earliest years. It’s part of its Preserving Our Past series. Researcher Bob Gariepy Sr. explains how he dug up Waterford’s history for the event. Find out where he looked, what he found, and what you can learn from his discoveries.

A Night to Remember Prom

The Racine Founders Rotary Club has a rich history of hosting post prom. Now it’s taking on a new challenge—A Night to Remember. The prom honors individuals with special needs. It’s Sunday, May 19th at Festival Hall in Racine. We detail the volunteer opportunities available and how you can be a part of the emotional Red Carpet Experience. A participant also explains how ANTR Prom has made a difference in her life.
