The people we meet, the paths we take, and the decisions we make are at the center of “Now and Then” running February 23 through March 10, 2024 at the Racine Theatre Guild (RTG), 2519 Northwestern Avenue, Racine. Sometimes what happens after last call just might change your life. It’s 1981 and just as Jamie is closing up the bar where he works, a desperate last-minute customer offers him and his girlfriend, Abby, two thousand dollars to sit and have a drink with him. Who wouldn’t take it? As the trio swaps stories about life and the future, the unbelievable truth about this man is slowly revealed. As they confront themselves and each other, the heartfelt romantic comedy unfolds into a story about time, choices, and the love we share. Under the direction of Douglas Instenes, the cast features Andrew Dorst as Jamie, Bob Benson as Man, Maddie Anderlik as Abby, and Jane Meyers as Woman.
