Racine & Me: Racine Zoo celebrates Milwaukee Milkmen game and more
RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- As always, there is a lot of fun planned at the Racine Zoo!
The first is the Milwaukee Milkmen Game -- Racine Zoo Day!
Bring the whole family to enjoy a fun Sunday afternoon of baseball while supporting the Zoo! Racine Zoo is thrilled to be the featured nonprofit at the Aug. 7 Milwaukee Milkmen game! Proceeds from game ticket sales, donations and 50/50 raffle stay in Wisconsin to benefit the animals and programs of Racine Zoo.
Tickets start at just $8/person. Buy yours at racinezoo.org. The event is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022. It will happen at 1 p.m. vs. the Winnipeg Goldeyes at Franklin Field.
And if you're a car enthusiast, this may appeal to you. The 26th Annual Car, Truck, & Bike Show is coming up on Sunday, Aug. 21 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
All ages are welcome to join car, truck, and motorcycle enthusiasts for a fantastic show at Racine Zoo! Vote on your favorites! We'll be awarding over 75 trophies including Best of Show awards for vintage to modern vehicles. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. On Saturday, Aug. 27 from 6-9 p.m., you can indulge in the Whiskers & Whiskey event. Enjoy five unique whiskeys cleverly paired with a delightful 5-course dinner along the scenic lakefront while enjoying a presentation about our whiskered friends! Includes hors d'oeuvres, a silent auction, and more! Tickets are $100 per person. You must RSVP by Wednesday, Aug. 24. Proceeds benefit the animals and programs of the Racine Zoo.
