Racine Zoo Launches TV Show

The Racine Zoo is just days away from launching a television show. “Racine Zoo to You” will air Saturdays at 6:30 AM on WMLW – The M. Learn about the premise of the show, how the animals are handling production, and how the idea for a TV show came about.


Lantern Festival Update & New Animals

Tickets for the highly anticipated Lantern Festival at the Racine Zoo are now on sale. The festival starts October 1st. The crews from Zigong Lantern Company in China are headed to Wisconsin now. With only two months before the start of the festival, we find out what they’ve finished so far and what’s next when it comes to completing the lanterns and the course.


The Olympian 5k/10k

It’s a race for all generations. The Olympian 5k/10k is Saturday, August 10th along the lakefront in downtown Racine. The Event Director for Real Racine runs through the details and Dr. Jon Saigh from Advanced Care Specialists gives us some advice on how to prepare our bodies for a race in order to prevent injuries.


St. Edward Parish Celebrates Centennial

St. Edward Parish in Racine is celebrating 100 years. The chair of the Centennial Committee, Laura Gellott, discusses the events on tap for the celebration including the Fall Fun Fest, All Years Reunion, and special mass celebrated by Archbishop Jerome Listecki.
