Racine Police: Chicken Palace murder was retaliation for gang killing just a day earlier.

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Racine police believe that the killing of 25-year-old Jaquon Calhoun on Sunday, Nov. 2, was a targeted retaliation shooting for the murder of Cier Tye-Person, who was murdered just a day earlier on Nov. 1. 

In a press release, Racine officials state that they worked to piece together the events leading up to both homicides, which led to the arrests of three suspects in the murder of Tye-Person. 

On Thursday, Nov. 13, 26-year-old Isaiah McGlorn and 25-year-old Chihene Davis were taken into custody. On Friday, Nov. 14, Zharon Smith was located and then taken into custody. 

Davis and McGlorn were both charged for first degree intentional homicide, attempted homicide, numerous counts of bail jumping, and felon in possession of a firearm. 

Smith was arrested for first degree intentional homicide - party to a crime, and first degree attempted homicide - party to a crime with other bail jumping charges.
