Rain and a possible mix for the weekend

What we don't need at this point is more wet weather across southeastern Wisconsin.  Unfortunately, we have another system arriving Saturday night into Sunday morning.  The track of the system should keep us mainly wet, with very limited snow for our area.

Rain will develop by the late afternoon and early evening on Saturday.  Heavier rain will be in play for Saturday night; however, the rainfall amounts look a lot lighter than what we have recently dealt with.  Overall most areas will pick up around 0.25" of rain.  There's a slight chance for a brief mix into early Sunday morning.  No accumulation or problems are expected for us.

The track of the system will keep the heavy snow confined across north-central and northwestern Wisconsin.  Those areas have a chance to pick up another 3" to 6" of snow.

Winter Storm Warnings have been issued for the northwestern part of the state.  Use caution with any travel later this weekend.

Colder air will arrive for Sunday afternoon.  Milwaukee will expect temperatures in the 30s.
